Dog Facts 208
The average lifespan of a dog is usually between 10 and 13 years, but these numbers can fluctuate depending on a dog’s health and size. A small dog is more likely to live longer, while a larger dog usually has a shorter lifespan. Also, dogs with flatter faces tend to live shorter lives than those with narrow, angular faces. The majority of dogs do not live past the age of twenty. Some dogs, however, have been known to hold out for nearly 30 years.
