For dogs, it seems the tail wagging is the most natural thing in the world. However, while most people believe that a dog’s tail wagging is a signal of happiness, this is not always the case. When a dog wags his tail, it can mean a number of things, from fear to aggression. A vertical tail often means that a dog feels dominant or frustrated, and is probably not safe to approach. In contrast, a low tail wag usually indicates fear or submission.
